This award is announced by Cosmo Foundation for the best performer students in computer education since 2009. The aim is to promote competitive spirit, motivation and honor the outstanding talents. Till now 21 students have received this prestigious award which includes a Laptop and USB Modem.
Every year Cosmo Foundation organizes Children's fair to celebrate children's day. The aim is to promote joyful learning and enhance creativity among children and teachers. The major attractions are children's rally, magic show, puppet show, computer games, indoor games, science experiments, mathematical magic, English learning, art & craft and Book Corner. 800 students, parents, village leaders and Government school teachers participate in this event.
With an aim to motivate students to pursue higher education and to orient them about functioning of manufacturing units, and the importance of technology, Cosmo Foundation organizes visit of selected students to it's Karjan plant. The HR Manager takes them around the plant and also educates them on the importance of education, ethics and values. Every year 72 students and 12 teachers from Govt. schools participate in this program.
Cosmo Foundation plans an annual calendar of social, cultural, educational events, ranging from celebration of festivals of all faiths to fairs and exhibitions. The activity spectrum is focused on creating positive values, developing respect for diversity and building community spirit.
Recognizing parents as key pillars of effective education of young children, Cosmo Foundation has regular contacts and organizes "faliya" meetings with parents. The major focus is on creating awareness of the importance of primary education and the role of parents in promoting overall development of children. Parents are engaged in various creative activities and given messages of effective parenting for building a violence free society.
Since 2001, Cosmo Foundation has partnered with Bhartiya Samaj Seva Kendra, a local non-profit organization to select 8 students, ranging from class VI to diploma courses, for awarding them educational aids.
Since 2000, Cosmo Foundation is sponsoring a leading Corporate Cricket Tournament in Aurangabad named Shaheed Bhagat Singh Cricket Tournament. This tournament is organized by CITU, a national trade union. Teams of industrial workers, as well as local city players take part in this tournament. The aim of this tournament is to promote team spirit and leadership qualities amongst workers and strengthen industrial relations.
As announced by the Prime Minister of India, Clean India campaign is a priority agenda for all Indians. Cosmo Foundation has announced Swachha Vidhyarthi Swatchha Varga Khand campaign and developed indicators for Swachha Vidhyarthi Swatchha Varga Khanda Swatchha Vidyalaya Swatchhata committee formation at various schools. This program includes maintaining hygiene charts in primary schools, distribution of hygiene kits to students and distribution of cleanliness kits to all schools.
Cosmo Foundation is committed to provide educational aids, trained teachers, curriculum and assessment system to Cosmo Foundation's affiliated schools in Karjan. Cosmo Foundation makes financial contributions for school development activities to C&ZJ Patel High School, Bodka, Primary School, Choranda and Kanam Vidhya Mandir, Choranda.
The state of Gujarat faced massive floods due to heavy rainfall during 23rd to 26th September 2013 in which Karjan town and villages were severely affected. Cosmo Foundation conducted sanitation and chlorination activities with local youth in six villages, and made donations to community kitchens to support 250 flood affected families and provided educational support to 125 students who lost their books in floods.
Aurangabad has been a historical place and an important tourist destination, visited by a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. To preserve the aesthetics of the city and enhance the green cover, Cosmo Foundation has been involved in developing and maintaining beautiful gardens in the cantonment area, as well as Aurangabad airport since 2006.
