Metallised Thermal Velvet Film BOPP Based
PCT-2(MO) VT-HS
Description
It is metallised BOPP with one side velvet feel and other side extrusion
coated thermal laminating film. Film has extrusion coated surface with low
temp. melting resin, which enables the lamination of film to paper products
by heat and pressure.
Features
- Velvet feel with silvery look
- Good hot stamping & UV lacquer adhesion
- Improved scuff resistance.
Applications
- Thermal lamination with all kinds of un-printed paper and paper boards like book covers, posters, magazines, Diaries etc.
- This film is specifically recommended for premium laminating of user’s manuals, novels, cartons, magazines, brochures etc.
Special Instruction
- Cosmo BOPP based metallised velvet touch thermal matte film can be laminated with the temperature range of 100 to 120 deg C. It is recommended, around 10 to 20 deg C higher lamination temperature than standard matte film due to higher thermal resistance of velvet surface.
- Similarly the lamination speed should be reduced by 30 to 40 % relative to standard matte film.
- Strongly recommend to handle with care and cleanliness as it may spoil it’s look by rough handling, dust contamination and scratches.
- It is advisable to cool sufficiently one surface before proceeding the lamination to other surface.
- It is recommended to do the post lamination operation after 24 hrs.

| Storage condition : Storage temperature to be maintained 25 Deg.C (+/-5 Deg C) & relative humidity 55% (+/-5%) to avoid accelerated reduction of surface treatment level. |
| Note : Treatment values in metalized films tend to decay over a period of time during transportation & subjected to storage conditions, hence it is recommended to check the treatment prior to processing & if reduction is observed then go for online treatment, high adhesive GSM & a suitable primer may be applied. |
