Yes. All our lidding films are suitable for wet lamination using both solvent-based and solvent-free adhesive systems.

Our PET-based lidding films are also available with a print-receptive coating suitable for:

Our lidding films are available with different peel performance options to meet diverse packaging requirements.

PET-Based Films

  • TLID, TLID (AF), MLID: Medium to hard peel
  • PSF (AF): Easy peel
  • HSF-1 & HSF-1 (MO): Lock-seal (non-peelable)

PP-Based Films

  • HST-1 (LRT): Very easy peel
  • HST-1 (LSR): Very easy peel

Note: None of the films in our current portfolio are resealable.

The recommended sealing parameters vary depending on the lidding film grade and the sealing equipment used.

TLID, TLID (AF) & MLID

  • Sealing Temperature: 120°C–220°C
  • Sealing Pressure: 2–8 bar
  • Dwell Time: 0.5–3.0 seconds

*Recommended sealing conditions for optimum peel performance: Temperature: 150°C–180°C, Pressure: 4 bar, Dwell Time: 1 second

HSF-1 & HSF-1 (MO)

  • Sealing Temperature: 120°C–220°C
  • Sealing Pressure: 2–4 bar
  • Dwell Time: 0.5–1.0 second

HST-1 (LRT) CPP

  • Sealing Temperature: 145°C–200°C
  • Sealing Pressure: 2–6 bar
  • Dwell Time: 0.5–3.0 seconds

HST-1 (LSR) CPP

  • Sealing Temperature: 125°C–200°C
  • Sealing Pressure: 2–6 bar
  • Dwell Time: 0.5–3.0 seconds

Note: PP-based lidding films (HST-1 (LRT) CPP and HST-1 (LSR) CPP) should be laminated with PET film to withstand the sealing temperatures during the packaging process.

Important: The sealing parameters provided above are recommended starting points. Customers should optimize sealing temperature, pressure, and dwell time based on their packaging line, sealing equipment, tray material, and specific application requirements. Final seal performance depends on the complete packaging system and should be validated during machine trials.

Our manufacturing facility is certified to BRCGS standards, and all BRCGS food safety practices are strictly implemented throughout production.

At present, we do not offer a transparent barrier-grade lidding film. However, our MLID and HSF-1 (MO) are metallized lidding films that provide excellent barrier performance, with:

  • Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR): < 1.2 cm³/m²/day
  • Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate (MVTR): < 1.2 g/m²/day

These films are suitable for applications requiring enhanced protection against oxygen and moisture.
